Jardin De Buis

This is jardin de buis. A rather special place in my heart for a few reasons. One, it’s designed, built, and owned by two of the nicest humans you could meet, Andrea and Eric. Whenever I get the chance to stay there I find my shoulders relaxed (they often seem up by my ears these days). The place is loved and it seems to love back. The detail is beautiful. Not fussy or loud, it’s just effortless and sits quietly and at ease within its landscape.

I was introduced to Andrea and T by my lovely friend t.j. McGrath a few years ago when I sent him a DM asking if he fancied doing a workshop thing together, ever, one day maybe? He replied with a yes and that he knew of just the place. It’s now become a bit of an annual pilgrimage that makes my heart beat a little bit faster whenever I think about it.

This image also was a strong contender for the front cover of my new book. The vase full of flowers eventually won it, but I still wonder …

It’s not long until T.J. McGrath and I welcome our guests for this year’s workshop. I feel a little bit giddy whenever I think about it, to be honest.

There are a couple of spaces left if you’d like to transport yourself somewhere incredible for a couple of days of flowery inspiration. See the link below for full information
